That has further fuelled rumours that Tennant will be the one to replace Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor at the end of Sunday's BBC centenary episode The Power of the Doctor. As things stand, he has not been confirmed to be involved in the 60th anniversary specials. There is also very little casting information for series 14, other than Ncuti Gatwa as the Fourteenth Doctor. Davies has confirmed that he has already penned episodes for that series. The Scot will be joined by fellow returnee Catherine Tate as Donna Noble. He was recently spotted filming in Bristol. Tennant, who played the Tenth Doctor from 2005 to 2010 and returned for a 2013 special, is already confirmed for the 60th anniversary offerings.
